In a faraway forest, there lived a purple lop-eared rabbit named Violet, with eyes as large and bright as two sparkling opals.
Violet carried her treasures—a soft pillow, a warm quilt, a mysterious magic mirror, and a rotten kiwi fruit—to a quiet burrow close to a human village.
The human village was filled with fascinating things, and Violet was deeply attracted to the little trinkets created by humen. She quietly stole the little scraps she liked, sometimes a half-broken flute, sometimes a candle without a wick, and sometimes a doll missing an eye. She hid them all in her burrow and crowned herself the Rabbit Bandit.
She filled eight burrows with these precious trinkets, yet the name of the Rabbit Bandit remained unknown.
One day, the village school was having a outdoor class, which was quite unusual. Violet sneaked to peek and saw the children in the small grove, using colored pencils to splash colors onto their canvases, it turned out they were sketching from life. Violet stole a crumpled piece of paper the little boy had dropped on the ground and half a rubber the little girl had left in a pile of leaves.
"I'm so naughty," Violet thought to herself, "Perhaps this way, I can become the legendary Rabbit Bandit!"
