《最终幻想》：大海中的一滴水

对于多数西方人来说，天野喜孝这个名字只和《最终幻想》电子游戏系列有关。当他受邀与海外粉丝见面时，媒体的问题经常也只围绕这个家喻户晓的游戏系列，但实际上《最终幻想》系列只占天野所有创作量的百分之一或二。

“与许多玩家的想法相反，《最终幻想》根本不是我的主要工作。但是身为艺术家，能被知道作品的百分之一总比完全不被认识好。”

For most westerners, the name of Yoshitaka Amano is associated only with Final Fantasy series. When meeting with foreign fans, he’s most often been asked about the famous game series and nothing else. In fact, the Final Fantasy series represents only one or two percent of his all artistic creations.

“On the contrary to many fans might think, actually Final Fantasy is not my main focus at all. But as an artist, it’s better that you are known by others thanks to one percent of your works than not being known at all.”
