梦枕貘

梦枕貘 (1951- )

生于神奈川县小田原市，本名米山峰夫。被誉为“日本魔幻小说超级霸主”的梦枕貘目前是SF作家俱乐部会员，日本文艺家协会会员。

貘在日本传说中是吞噬恶梦的魔兽，而枕是道具，是梦与貘之间的道具。高中时“想要想出梦一样的故事”而取此笔名，开始在同人杂志上发表诗集或具有奇幻风格的作品。1989年梦枕貘以《吞食上弦月的狮子》荣获“日本SF大赏”；1998年再以《诸神的山岭》得到“柴田炼三郎赏”。二十余年来从《恶狼传》、《大帝之剑》、《阴阳师》、《幻兽少年》等名著一路成为日本一级人气作家。

梦枕貘的《吼》系列推动日本奇幻小说上世纪80年代的奇幻热潮，将其带向暴力与性的成人方向。近年，梦枕貘的《阴阳师》系列，描写群魔乱舞的平安朝物语已被改编成漫画、电影同步发行全球。

Baku Yumemakura (1951- )

Born in Odawara, birth name Yoneyama Mineo, known as the maestro of Japanese fantasy literature. Baku is member with SF Writers Club and Japanese Artists Association.

His Japanese name literally means a mystical beast who devours nightmares. When in high school, he was determined to create wonderful stories just like dreams, hence his pen name. Later he started to publish poems and fantasy stories in magazines. In 1989, he won Japan SF Prize thanks to his piece titled The Lion that Ate the Crescent Moon. In 1998, he won the Renzaburô Shibata Award. Over two decades, he authored such famous works as Garouden, Taitei no Ken, Onmyoji, and Genjyu Shonen Kimaira, now he is one of the most popular authors in Japan.

His Kimaira Kou series ushered in a big wave of fantasy stories in Japan in the 1980s and driving the trend towards more adult topics such as violence and sex. His more recent Onmyoji series presented a Heian Period full of monsters and demons, manga and movie adaptations of the series are released globally.
